The Power Of Words

words

You ever notice that the people who speak negativity usually get negativity? It’s the same way vice versa: The people who speak positive things usually have positive outcomes. It’s not a coincidence, I’ve come to learn that the words that come out our mouths are powerful. You ever think the all-time greats in their industry ever doubted themselves: It’s hard for me to envision Michael Jordan doubting himself after he got cut from his high school basketball team, Steve Jobs saying his Apple products would never do well, or Jay-Z putting out another rap album saying, “This album is probably not going to sell.” I’m sorry, but it’s hard for me to see anybody who is at the top of their industry doubt themselves. Success has to start somewhere, and I feel it can begin with the words that come out of our mouths. I’ve no longer come to hope or dream if BIG things are going to happen, but better yet, I now expect BIG things to happen. It’s not that I’m trying to cocky or conceited in this post, I’m just showing confidence in my abilities, and that’s what God wants from all of us. God wants us to activate our faith in whatever we do, but we all know that Faith Without Works Is Dead. It would be foolish for me to think that I could get somewhere without working for it. But whenever we have a plan and work hard to achieve that plan with faith, I have no doubt in my mind that God will bless us. It just all starts with the WORDS that we speak, and that can be just the beginning of something BIG that God has planned out for our lives.
